As a multidisciplinary artist with many areas of interest, Alexander Spree aka __Dr.Spre- not only works as a solo artist for electronic music, music educator, and ambassador for electronic sound art, but also repeatedly collaborates with different partners on various projects, in the past (AEOX, ZONALUNA, BLUMA, SPREE & MOWITZ and many more) untill the present day.

Spree is known for his powerful, modular live sets, in which analog synthesizers, custom Eurorack systems, and improvisational elements merge into a distinctive, energetic sound. His style ranges from club-oriented tracks, machine-driven beats to experimental sound art, making him one of the defining personalities in the Berlin techno scene.
With his internationally successful YouTube channel, Spree provides insight into topics such as sound synthesis, music theory, modular synthesizer technology, and dawless live jams. In doing so, he acts as a mediator between the club scene, technology, and musical education, regularly publishing tutorials and exclusive live performances for a global audience.

CHAOSMOLOGY TALKS podcast: Composer, electro-punk artist, and clarinetist Alexander Spree and musicologist, educator and guitarist Dr. Michael Mowitz are conducting research with their artistic-scientific project, to explore sound, noise, language, form, and structure.
With XhAOsmology, they are establishing a progressive and holistic field of art, music, and philosophy. Formally, the anecdotal nature of this is inherent in the subject matter and the medium. We learn why the greatest philosopher of all may have been “Mutti” (German for mommy) and what connects techno with the Big Bounce and Adorno.
